Though this year seemed to fly by, it was definitely one of the hardest years we have ever faced as a family. Learning what it means to be parents of a premature baby continues to teach us lessons we never thought we would ever have to learn. Though difficult, this learning process and adjustment brought us closer together. We are so thankful Cohen is doing so well and we thank God every day for giving us such a special gift.
So, what is Cohen up to these days? Check out his new tricks!
- Babbling a TON
- Saying dadadada and mamamama, though not directed at a specific person
- Going to bed at 7pm
- Sleeping through the night!
- Becoming independent and not very snuggly anymore
- Loves water and bath time
- New obsession is magnets on the refrigerator
- Biting…not such a good new trick, but one to remember
- Cruising with confidence
- Taking 1-3 steps, from point A to point B
- Standing for 30 seconds without holding on to anything
- Mastering finger foods
- More interested in Carter’s sippy cup than his own
- In. To. Everything. and Everything.In.The.Mouth!
- Hair is starting to fill in
- Loves playing and laughing with his brother.
Happy Birthday Baby Boy!! We Love You!
Look what a difference a year makes....
