May 31, 2010: Palo Alto

Nama often spends her weekends in Palo Alto with GGpop-pop. This weekend we tagged along because we haven’t seen GGpop-pop in quite awhile and he was really looking forward to seeing us. The boys are always full of commotion and activity and GGpop-pop loves the distraction from his often too quiet house.

This time, Cohen was infatuated with Thea, the dog. Cohen about had a seizure he was so excited--seriously, he held his breath, balled his fists up, and squealed in excitement. Then, much to everyone’s surprise, Cohen yelled “DOG” His first official word!! Cohen spent most of the weekend sitting in front of Theta and letting her lick his face. Unfortunately, Thea has cancer and is nearing the end of her days. But, despite this, she was perky and peppy when the boys were around. And that made GGpop-pop very happy.
